If you clicked the button wondering what the button did  click the button below to return to the Cog Dis test.

If you're deep into first principles, then this is where we start, how do we know what straight is? Surely no one can question what straight is ? Right?

Straight is right

First principles of geometry

Is there anything more intrinsic to life than knowing something for certain? Could you say that of a straight line? I'd say yes but some disagree, if you're looking this far then you've probably been through the test and are looking for the trick, the trick has already been played, the test helped expose it.

Straight is right

Straight/right lines

My first ever so called 'debate' was all about 'Straight lines and level' and the person I was debating just said "Straight lines can curve" An obvious and contradictory statement called an oxymoron.

Definition of oxymoron

: a combination of contradictory or incongruous words (such as cruel kindness)broadly : something (such as a concept) that is made up of contradictory or incongruous elements.

To anyone unsure of what a straight line there's only 2 words that should be needed.

Vertical

Radius

Euclid defines it as part of his exquisite axiomatic system of self proof but that was just to lay the foundations of what is the finest work of logic ever known, everyone already knows that a straight line is free from curvature don't they?

It's like you already knew it

If it's not right what is it?

Below is some old dictionary definitions and usage of the word straight and right, thanks to everyone who's helped in sending these to us
